As a teacher approaching testing season I have been scanning for resources that could prepare my students for the upcoming MCA's. When I came across this product I was thrilled as it is really the only test prep material that I could find that is specifically made for the test. I immediately purchased a copy!It arrived in good condition and after browsing through passages it seemed like it would be a great tool for my students.I immediately brought it down to the copy room to make copies of some of the passages for my students. I dropped it off with the clerk and went back to my room.About 20 minutes later the clerk came back to my room and informed me that she was not able to run copies from the workbook. She brought to my attention that at the bottom of each page there is a warning that the pages are not to be photocopied due to copyright.I e-mailed the company to find out if by "personal use" it meant that I could still use it in my "personal classroom." They told me that I would need to order each student their own copy of the book!!Obviously at around $25 a book I don't have the budget to order 30 copies. In other words this book is completely useless!It's such a shame because it does seem to have good content. I wish I would have known before I shelled out the money from my own pocket for this resource that I wouldn't even be able to use it!If you are a teacher, DO NOT MAKE THE SAME MISTAKE! Unless, of course, you are prepared to order a copy for each student!
